Why we fell in love with Etterbeek (again): introducing [rezidentz] Fivé, our newest home for modern expat living

When we started [rezidentz], our second ever building was in La Chasse, Brussels. We chose this area because we loved its easy lifestyle : close to the EU institutions, well connected, and full of charm. It felt like the right place to offer something modern and flexible for people working in Brussels, especially those in the European quarter.

A couple of years later, we came across another building just around the corner. It had great bones but needed love, so we spent a full year renovating it completely. We added solar panels, restored every space with care, and chose a bold, fresh yellow to bring in light and energy. The result? Spacious studios and one-bedroom apartments, many with balconies and beautiful views. There’s even parking available, which is rare in the area.

We’re now thrilled to introduce [rezidentz] Fivé, located at Rue Général Fivé 27, 1040 Etterbeek. We’ll be opening the doors mid-October, just in time to welcome a new wave of residents looking for a stylish, easy, and well-connected place to stay in Brussels. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve created.

We are also grateful for the contributions of Belgian architect Zazie Maquet. She seduced us with a new concept. The atmosphere is refined, the space functional and the spirit sustainable, each time with a touch of yellow colour. Every detail has been studied and redesigned: equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom, custom-made furniture and decorative elements so that you will feel at home from day 1 of the rental. At [rezidentz], our members will experience the comfort of a home with the modern atmosphere of a boutique hotel.
